Go to North Thailand - Rustic Nature

Further to north is Chiang Rai, a very typically Thai town situated in the Golden Triangle - a tri border city sitting on the junction of Laos, Myanmar (Burma) and Thailand.

Kok Krung Krap...that's Thailand.

Sawa Dhikap. I have been to Thailand late last year and I also come over to visit this amazing country anytime when time permit. I love the people, the culture and the food. I wonder just like beginning to know Thailand every time you visit this country, something new in some other days. You would be able to understand a little more about this magnificent country every time you go.
Visiting Thailand is stress free destinations, especially the countryside and the beautiful beaches. Even the capital is fun with its heat, exotic sights and sound and good-natured touts and the street stalls. The first experience is varied, but if tourist numbers are anything to go by then it will be Bangkok, Pattaya or Phuket. Phuket lives up to its nickname - The Pearl of Andaman. Like a pearl it is highly polished, very expensive and loads of admirers bidding for its value up. It also increases in price for almost every New Year that comes. Tsunami is long forgotten.
There some nice beaches, but if you want an over developed island there are plenty of other option to choose. Pattaya is a lot less expensive but no less developed. Sin city by the beach is a magnet to pull man seeking quick fix on relationship, cheap beer and daily doses of intimacy if not hourly thrills. For me the visit here is not for that, sincerely, it's the nature and the cool breeze from the Andaman Sea.
Chiang Mai - The Center Stage for culture and natural scenic landscape.

Great if you want to make love, not war but hardly an insight into amazing Thailand. Visiting Thailand capital city Bangkok I would not argue with. This mega -metropolis has wormed its way into my heart and remains my favorite capital or city destination. The sights, sound, taste, buzz makes it an exciting and pulse-quickening place to visit and the value is undeniable.
My most favorite place in Thailand if I would suggest, after heading to the capital city for a week, make your way up north to the hills and cultural centre of the country. Here you will really cradle in the middle essence of visiting Thailand naturally. Chiang Mai the centre of the north and is little more laid back than the capital. Industries and crafts include silk, lacquer and hill tribe products as well as King project items which are quite exceptional. Many years ago hill people grew opium and Thailand's revered king took an interest in their welfare and become patron of a project to teach these subjects how to grow sustainable crops for the benefit of the community.
This took off and now Chiang Mai has a plethora of agricultural products that grace the world's finest menus. I am just a Joe smart street guy, I only tend to focus those with immediate benefit to me. Of Course again ' the coffee' so with the halal food which is easily found, such as the stinging Tom Yam kung. You may go the bazaar area in midst Chiang Mai, there you will find Thai Muslim food, even Pakistani and Mid East Gourmet.
